WorldRemit, a global digital money transfer service, joined hands with Brac Bank and bKash to offer remittance transfer services in Bangladesh.
Recently, The strategic partnership was announced at a press conference at the bank`s head office in Dhaka.
Chief Commercial Officer(CCO) of WorldRemit Tamer El-Emary said, `WorldRemit will be cost effective, charging lower than any such service provider in the world, because it is completely a digital platform with no agent.`
BKash chief executive officer Kamal Quadir said, ‘The partnership brings tremendous value to Bangladeshis at home and abroad, allowing people in Bangladesh to receive remittances into their bKash accounts 24/7, instantly.’
While talking with another executive of WorldRemit it is known that the company is joinly working with the repued local companines such as bKash and BRAC Bank. It is expected this will increase the company`s reliability among Bangladeshi people.
